Durr Team to Walk Again to Help
Find a Cure for Blood Cancers
HARAHAN, LA (June 20, 2011) –
For the third year in a row, Durr Heavy Construction will take to the night to walk in the Leukemia Lymphoma Society's annual "Light the Night" fundraising walk on Saturday, October 15th at Lafreniere Park in Metairie.
Named "Durr Heavy Construction - Team Camille" is walking in honor of Camille Reynolds, daughter of north shore estimator Lonnie Reynolds. Camille was diagnosed with leukemia in 2009 at the age of 7 months old. She is currently doing wonderful and is a very happy toddler!
Last year, the team was ranked 8th overall for the most donations raised.
